Verdict

ONE WAY OR ANOTHER could be an attractive price and is put forwards ahead of St Moritz and Quanah Parker. The selection's latest run at Ascot can be ignored as a number of horses fail to handle the new track there whilst he also saw far too much daylight. Simon Pearce has been given the chance to atone and should be able to get his mount plenty of cover before delivering his challenge late in the day. St Moritz drops back in trip and is entitled to improve on his first run since being gelded but another lightly raced charge of keen interest is the ex-Irish Decent Fella who reappears for a new yard. Bounty Box may ideally prefer more cut as she tries 7 furlongs for the first time whilst Brother Cha won't be able to show what he's capable of until he learns to settle. Quanah Parker has been off for a while but returns with his yard going well and the step back up to 7 furlongs is in his favour and he has the potential to rank higher. However, preference is for One Way Or Another who was only beaten a head over course and distance last October from today's mark and he may, now, be able to go one better as long as the gaps appear at the right time.
