It may pay to focus on Al Sharood and APAZINE of those with experience with Bakoura, Wafeira and Eljowzah prominent amongst the debutantes. Token preference is for John Gosden's Apazine who made an encouraging start to his career at Goodwood in a maiden won by a smart performance and she should come on for the run. Al Sharood ran in a fair contest at Ascot and should appreciate the longer trip; the third won well enough next time but the second and the fifth have both finished well held. The market is always interesting with regard to the newcomers but Bakoura is one to note as her dam won over a mile on debut, Eljowzah represents a yard with a strong hand in this division and is bred for speed whereas Wafeira may need a little more time although her dam was a winner over 7 furlongs on debut as a juvenile. It'll be worth having a second look at Googlette with Jamie Spencer booked to take the ride with Royal Liaison another that takes the eye on paper. Some good looking fillies go to post as one would expect but Apazine's experience may enable her to lead them home.
