    Verdict

ASK JENNY is selected to win the opener, while Avrilo and Boho Chic line-up as potential dangers. The selection ran on well to land an apprentice contest at Catterick earlier in the month and went close to following-up over this trip at Thirsk last time. He stays further than this, and acts on the ground, and he looks the most solid option. Avrilo won a good ground handicap at Goodwood in May and ran well enough at Lingfield last time to suggest that from 3lbs higher she will still be very competitive, so she is respected. George Baker saddles Boho Chic, who has twice won over 6f and also run some good races in defeat over this minimum trip, and she can acquit herself well once more. Radiator Rooney won at Bath earlier in the month when conditions and trip were similar to this afternoon, but a 9lb rise put paid to him last time and he looks in the grip of the assessor for now. Ask Jenny gets the verdict.
