      Verdict

      Miss Firefly, Pennyspider and Barraland look the ones to focus on with PENNYSPIDER taken to follow up her success last time out . 9lbs better off for a beating of just under four lengths by Pennyspider, Miss Firefly will be a lot closer this time. She is thoroughly consistent and cannot be ruled out, but she seems to prefer a faster surface and is taken on. Pennyspider romped away with that Bath contest and is clearly in excellent heart. An 8lb rise looks harsh but this sharp track may well suit her front-running style which was seen to such good effect recently - and she does handle cut in the ground. Barraland bounced back to winning form at Folkestone last time but that win came on fast ground. He is also held by Miss Firefly on earlier running and is likely to find top weight too onerous a task. Pennyspider can make every post a winning one.
