ZACINTO is not certain to handle the testing underfoot conditions but Sir Michael Stoute's colt created such a favourable impression when making a winning debut at Sandown in July that he is hard to oppose and gets the verdict ahead of Master Noverre and Westphalia. The last mentioned disappointed in the Group 2 Futurity Stakes at The Curragh last time but Aidan O'Brien's colt is better than that effort would suggest and he has to be respected on ground that suits. Playfellow has done everything that has been asked of him winning both starts so far, including on heavy ground first time out but he probably needs to improve to trouble the judge. Ouqba ran below expectations in a valuable sales race at Newmarket last time and a bigger threat is likely to come from Richard Fahey's Master Noverre, who found only Shaweel too good in the Gimcrack last time. This is a decent start to St Leger day and it is Zacinto who is taken to land the contest and further enhance the impression set on his debut.
