NAWAAFF is a tentative selection to land a competitive opener where Tanley and Bilboa could emerge as the biggest threats. Well beaten over seven furlongs last time, the selection has been campaigned over five and six furlongs prior to that. The fast pace which is likely to materialize will work in his favour. Tanley remains a maiden after sixteen starts and is rather inconsistent, posting some respectable placed efforts before leaving those behind with poor performances. He attracted support last time but he does not appear as effective over the minimum trip. Bilboa, a recent acquisition by Milton Bradley put in a poor effort on his debut for the yard, continuing the baron spell been suffered by them. Stoneacre Pat is closely weighted with Nawaaff based on their Lingfield clash. Mystickhill posted a seasonal best last time out at Doncaster while market support for Town And Gown, who is another that has dropped markedly in the weights would make him of some interest. Nawaaff is the pick to land the opener.
