RED ICON can land this on her first start in claiming company where Tavalu and Turner's Touch could emerge as the biggest dangers. Admittedly it is always a concern when a trainer opts to drop one of his charges into this grade and the application of headgear last time confirmed the fact she may not be the most straight-forward but she has shown enough to suggest a race of this nature is well within her grasp. Her second behind Snowdrop Princess reads well in the context of this and the additional two furlongs should not prove problematic. Tavalu was backed off the boards to land a Chepstow claimer on his penultimate start but was never sighted in the race. The twelve furlongs here could prove to be on the sharp side for him although jockey bookings suggest he is the stables first string here. Gary Moore's other contender Turner's Touch has posted all of his seven victories on the all-weather but needs cajoling and it hinges on whether he decides to put it all in. Given A Choice faces a stiff task to concede weight all round here while Mustajed was not disgraced in the ladies derby at Newbury three weeks ago and first time blinkers are now applied. Very little strength in depth but it provides the perfect opportunity for Red Icon to finally get off the mark.
