    Verdict

EVERYMAN has shown much improved form in his latest starts and deservedly opened his seasonal account last time, foiling the hat-trick bid of Circadian Rhythm in the process. He is now 7lb higher for that victory but given the indifferent form of the majority of these, he looks the most solid proposition. Play Up Pompey continues to race inconsistently but is a place contender. He tends to race very keenly which does not aid his claims while Fantasy Crusader, who has not scored for over a year needs to return to something like his old form to trouble the judge. The Grey One is a dual winner over one mile but reservations remain with regard to the well being of Milton Bradley's string. A One and Golden Brown are others to consider but Everyman is the pick.
