This is an intriguing contest where a number of runners hold solid credentials, but we side with RIGHT STUFF. Star of Gibraltar does have some quality staying blood in her pedigree - a point underlined when she scooted up the inside rail to score on an easy surface at Newbury recently. That was her first win and although she will enjoy the trip and ground here, the form of that victory has taken a knock since and she is taken on. Fort Churchill had not won for well over a year when scoring here last week. He stayed on to good effect that day, but a five-pound hike in his rating may prove his undoing for collecting that amateur riders' affair. Out of a high-class staying mare, Fortune City lost his maiden tag with authority last time. That was not an unexpected success but he has been campaigned in modest affairs and his earlier form looks weak. Right Stuff is a recruit from France, and he needed a couple of runs to get his bearings before winning his last two races, his latest success underlining his staying power and ability to handle ease in the ground. He is only four pounds higher and can land the hat trick.
