Measurement, Sohcahtoa and Lahaleeb make the shortlist here with LAHALEEB taken to make up for an unlucky run last time. Anmar is not disregarded - the Godolphin representative showed battling qualities to score on his debut and although he is out of a multiple winning dam over longer distances the value of his Sandown success is hard to evaluate. Although only fifth in a Listed contest at Salisbury a fortnight ago, Measurement was only beaten three lengths and ran respectably. He handles cut in the ground and his earlier form had been solid, albeit at a lower level than this. Stable companion Sohcahtoa was just in front of Measurement at Salisbury but although he had winning form previously, his efforts have come on a sounder surface and he is taken on. After taking two nurseries in commanding fashion, Mick Channon's Lahaleeb was raised into Group company last time, and was unlucky, hit over the head by a rider's whip when delivering a dangerous challenge. Lahaleeb enjoys soft ground, and has the most solid form credentials, and gets the vote.
