CWM RHONDDA is taken to overcome a six pound penalty to win the finale at the expense of Desert Hawk and Sir Haydn. The selection was a course and distance winner when breaking her maiden tag earlier in the month. Connections have decided to run with a penalty rather than wait to be reassessed and if she can recapture that form she will be difficult to beat. Desert Hawk looks well treated on his best form. He won on the all weather at Wolverhampton during the winter and was not discredited when finishing fourth when sent back on turf last week so any market support should be noted. Sir Haydn runs off the same mark as he did when landing an apprentice handicap at Southwell last time out. If he can translate that form back on the turf he would have to be respected. Not the best of handicaps to conclude the card with but Cwm Rhondda ticks more boxes than most of her rivals and is taken to win again.
