Maison Brillet, Baileys Vision and Trinder catch the eye here in a race where there are a number of unknown quantities, and MAISON BRILLET gets the vote. Baileys Vision did well to finish second on his racecourse bow, and is open to improvement. That Warwick contest saw the leading four covered by a blanket and the form of the race looks questionable. Taken out of a race at Beverley on Saturday, Baileys Vision may not represent value. Trinder occupied a similar position at Hamilton on his debut, and did himself credit. It was only a small field however and once again the form is hard to weigh up. Howard Johnson has had the odd well backed juvenile who has failed to live up to expectations, but in contrast, Maison Brillet was unfancied when appearing for the first time at Musselburgh. The gelding was not well drawn and missed the break, but kept on very well to be a good third behind more experienced opponents. Maison Brillet can take this.
