Stateside, General Feeling and Tommy Tobougg make the shortlist here with STATESIDE, less exposed than his rivals, taken to make his low weight count. Two successes at Lingfield had seen General Feeling go up the weights and he has consequently had a losing sequence. However, a close fourth last time suggests a return to form may not be too far away. A winner over seven furlongs last season, Tommy Tobougg has recently run with credit over hurdles and stayed on to be third on his latest Flat outing at Newcastle. This is a weak affair and he can be thereabouts. Stateside had shown little last season, but was only lightly campaigned. He seems to be improved this year on the evidence of his re-appearance run at Warwick, where he stayed on to be a decent second. He runs off the same mark here and Stateside can score.
