Sir Royal, Sunnyside Tom and Ergo are the shortlisted trio here, with preference for Ergo to lead them home. Sir Royal is well regarded by the Swinbank camp, but having been made favourite on his seasonal debut, he was well beaten, and faield to sparkle recently on his second start of the campaign. He has been lowered 3lbs and can play a part. Sunnyside Tom bounced back to form last time for an in form yard on Monday and is turned out quickly with a penalty. That was only a moderate affair however and he is opposed. Ergo has been in fine form of late, winning three of his last four starts. He appears to have conditions in his favour here, and despite going up the handicap-he is 6lbs higher here, Ergo is the selection.
