Even as sellers go, this is a poor contest, but something has to win it, and tentatively we'll side with ANJOMARBA in preference to Mary Helen and Our Georgie Girl. Bill Turner's filly is the most experienced of this lot, and the only one to have an official rating. She's nought from five so far, but has shown a modicum of ability. She's not got the greatest draw, but there's not a great deal to beat here. Mary Helen and Our Georgie Girl both qualify for a mark after this race; the former's had a couple of satisfactory runs at Haydock and Ripon, and should have this sort of race within her. Our Georgie Girl steps up from five to six fulongs and was entered in a similar contest here tomorrow, but connections must feel she's got a better chance of winning this one from a decent draw. Support for either newcomer, the joint top-weights Arken Lad or Scilly Breeze should be noted, but given they're starting life at this sort of level, probably not too much is expected of them. It's minimum stakes for us, and we'll support Anjormarba.
