Rawdon, Hadrian and Clipperdown look the three to concentrate on in this competitive handicap and the vote is given to Rawdon. The selection has enjoyed a tremendous season and he won well when last seen out defeating Evaluator. That rival has since gone on to frank the form this week at Goodwood and Rawdon should take plenty of stopping today. Hadrian rates the main danger as he won a competitive handicap at Haydock in good style last time when beating Goodbye Mr Bond. He looks a progressive sort and with the step up to 1m2f in his favour a big run is expected. Clipperdown is another improving type who proved that this trip suits when scoring at Ripon last time defeating Silverhay. However, this is tougher and he will need to step-up on that effort to make the frame. Mezuzah ran well for a long way in a ladies' race at Beverley last week and if he is in the mood again today he could go well. However, in a tight race to call the narrow vote is given to Rawdon.
