Patricia Philomena can confirm form with Kyle of Lochalsh to land our opening contest. Third to Tojoneski at Musselburgh earlier in the week, she is a consistent type who should be better for this return to a shorter trip. Kyle Of Lochalsh did beat our selection on good-to-firm ground at Musselburgh over twelve furlongs but our selection was giving more weight away on that occasion and he has struggled to capitalise since. Reminiscent brings a win in a Leicester claimer to the table. The form of that race was upheld by the third, Loup The Loop, who dotted up next time out. Claimed out of Fulke Johnson Haughton's yard - the bounce factor is of obvious concern. Montara has always looked as if needing further than a mile and is up to the sort of trips he raced over in Ireland although this time, at much lower official figures! Glenviews Surlami is bred very much in the blue but has never produced too much that is noteworthy from a punting perspective. Port D'Argent could not handle the nuances of Brighton and is much better than that effort suggests. Patricia Philomena is more reliable than most here and she secures the selection.
