    Verdict

A very interesting maiden opens the card and QARAABA is just preferred to Pollenator, while Chain Of Office is an eyecatching newcomer. The selection steps up to a mile after finishing runner-up here on her soft ground debut. This trip looks likely to bring improvement, as should that first experience of the racecourse, and with the John Dunlop runners generally going very well then she looks capable of breaking her duck. Pollenator has had several chances and just keeps finding one too good. She is genuine enough but has just lost out for a bit of toe at vital stages and this extra furlong should help overcome that, so she has to be taken seriously. Nafura stayed on in eyecatching style when running green on her recent Kempton introduction and once again both experience and a furlong more will see her to better effect. Boogie Diva will also be better for a Redcar pipe opener and should be involved at the business end of the contest, but perhaps even more interesting is debutant Chain Of Office. William Haggas has his string in tremendous form and this Mark Of Esteem filly is related to juvenile winners over this trip. The stable's two-year-olds are having a much better time of things than normal this year and if there is support for Chain Of Office then it will probably be significant. Mahlak is related to winners at this age and trip, while Miss Miracle reads well enough in terms of pedigree, though Fringe Success would be a slightly surprising winner given that Sir Michael Stoute has had only one juvenile scorer this campaign. With due respect to Chain Of Office, Qaraaba is the selected here.
