Chocolate Cookie was turned over when odds on at Windsor two starts ago and is now beginning to be expensive to follow having been beaten again when a short price for an auction maiden at Folkestone so Richard Hannon's filly looks best watched in a race taken to go to FILWA, who gets the verdict ahead of Lutine Charlie. Peter Winkworth's colt made a highly encouraging debut when chasing home Bagamoyo in a soft ground auction maiden at Doncaster at the beginning of the month and he has to be respected although the faster ground today would have to be of some concern. David Simcock's Lexi's Layla has found one too good in each of her two starts but they have both been under testing conditions and it remains to be seen whether she will be as effective on the faster ground this afternoon. Brendan Powell's Two Kisses has had plenty of chances and of more interest may be Gary Moore's newcomer Art Scolar, a son of Pyrus, who would not need to be anything out of the ordinary to win this first time out. Preference though is for Brian Meehan's Filwa, who stepped up from a promising debut outing when running Emirates Hills to a nose in a Windsor maiden last week and a reproduction of that form may well suffice.
