Saeed Bin Suroor complicates matters by saddling two runners for Godolphin here in the shape of Love And Devotion and Tia Juana who have both been disappointing when favourites for their respective latest starts and look likely to be placed at best in a race taken to go VANISHING GREY. Brian Meehan's filly made a pleasing debut before being highly tried but not disgraced in a listed race at Newmarket in June. Turned over when even money at Chepstow in a maiden last time, the son of Verglas looks worth one more chance in a race that should not take a great deal of winning. David Simcock's Art Summer has run well in both starts so far and should be thereabouts again, while Annia represents a stable in good form but she is difficult to back with confidence on her first start for Nick Littmoden having formerly been trained in Ireland. It will be interesting to see if there is any market support for Paul Cole's Grand Mary, a well bred daughter of Kyllachy, who comes from a yard that is more than capable of getting a juvenile ready first time out. Vanishing Grey is the clear form pick though and she looks the one they all have to beat.
