A nursery that should chiefly concern the top five of the seven runners on your racecard and MANY A SLIP is taken to prevail, while Missionaire, Deauville Post and Whippers Love should make him earn it. Of the others, Emma Dora has some useful form with good yardstick Water Biscuit, but she was too bad to be true last time and has a bit to prove this afternoon. Missionaire has the beating of Deauville Post on a line through Dubawi Phantom, though with the William Knight runners not in the same sort of form as those of Richard Hannon it may not work out that way. The former did not appear to give his true running last time and looks better than that, but given that stable form is perhaps best watched today. Whippers Love has been kept busy by Mark Johnston and he came good at Beverley last time in a reasonable nursery, for which he has gone up 6lbs. This will be tougher, particularly against the likes of Many A Slip. John Dunlop has hit a purple patch and this Verglas colt was resolute when scoring at Salisbury last time. This ground is ideal and the step up in trip should be a further positive, so with all of those factors in his favour he is selected here.
