Now he goes handicapping there could be more to come from ALKHATAAF and John Dunlop's colt gets the vote here ahead of Admire The View and Frequency. Plenty of these have failed to win a maiden and have now been switched to this sphere, including our pick, who has shown improvement for both his debut and second start, going well in defeat over course and distance last time. Fast ground suits here, and a mark of 75 is none-too-taxing for this first handicap run, so with the yard going well we will give him the verdict. Admire The View is another representing a yard in form, and she is now 7lbs lower than when introduced to handicapping at Kempton in April. That gives her a bit of a squeak, and we expect her to get more closely involved. Frequency has been runner-up in three maidens to date and a mark of 70 looks fair for her first attempt in this grade, so with the trip no problem she can go close, provided the ground does not get too soft. Dream Number is 5lbs higher than her sole handicap success, but it was over this trip and that, at least, is a positive, while Fallon is up. Lago Indiano is not a bad yardstick but is likely to find at least one too good and Alkhataaf is preferred.
