    Verdict

CAPAILL LIATH is given the nod here over Brave Tiger and Bussa. Barry Hills' Iffraaj colt shaped with promise at Haydock when unfancied at 50/1. He is likely to come into his own as a three-year-old however he is related to juvenile winners and a repeat of that first run may be enough to take this race. Bussa has been well-held in two starts to date but this fellow (already gelded) should appreciate the longer trip this afternoon. Paul Hanagan looks an interesting booking on the newcomer Roman Strait, however the more interesting debutant looks to be Brave Tiger. Fitted with a tongue-tie for this debut this Shamardal colt represents connections who went close in a similar maiden at the track last week. Silver Shine has not sparkled in two runs to date and given his pedigree he is not expected to win until tackling longer distances. Spartic would arouse some interest with some market support however the safer call is to side with Capaill Liath.
