OUTLAND may be a pound out of the weights but with the ground coming in his favour he looks the horse to side with; Cote D'Argent and Rare Ruby join Dunaskin on the list of dangers. Mark Rimell's gelding missed an engagement at Salisbury on Tuesday but this son of Indian Haven is a major player if running here. His sole success came on soft ground at Yarmouth and his best effort since has been on ground with some cut in so conditions today should be ideal. This mark looks workable and he shouldn't be far away. Little Sark has been holding his form fairly well without suggesting that this mark of 60 is ideal, Yemeni Princess' sole win came in a Lingfield bumper but she has acquitted herself well in handicaps since, whilst Dunaskin has been giving various connections a great ride this year with four wins from his last five starts in all codes. Slip may have ground issues if it continues to rain, so a bigger threat could be Rare Ruby who seems adaptable in regards to ground conditions. Cote D'Argent's Bath win has been franked by the second and fifth running well in defeat since, whereas Sally Forth needs to be rejuvenated by the application of first-time blinkers. Another open handicap then but the nod is given to Outland.
