PALAVICINI rates the one to beat and is consequently selected. Lasso The Moon, Sopranist and Conclusive are amongst some likely looking newcomers who could pose a threat. The John Dunlop trained colt will be short enough but his form entitles him to be sent off at cramped odds here. He shaped well on debut before being well supported to land a conditions race over this course and distance. He didn't do anything wrong that day, the form is strong and he may yet take up one of the big race engagements that he holds. Holberg and Saborido are from yards whose juveniles are running well but neither has done enough on the course to be put forwards with confidence. There are some choicely bred newcomers on display as one would expect; they include Sopranist, Conclusive and Lasso The Moon with the last two of particular interest being related to Royal Confidence and Simply Perfect respectively. Reference to the market is advised but Palavicini is likely to be a warm order on his return to racing in maiden company.
