Summer's Lease is reluctantly deserted in favour of AINIA in the belief that she will be a more attractive price. Rhadegunda has to be on the short-list given her recent form. A few ifs and buts here with the likes of Lee Miller not really having gone on as expected and Censored tried in headgear for the first time as well as a few having stamina to prove. They include Rhadegunda who has won her last two starts over a mile very comfortably although the runner-up on her latest start was beaten in a Pontefract claimer on Monday. She may well stay and is sure to be popular with a 4lb rise far from prohibitive. Ainia was three lengths behind at Sandown but does race from a pound lower mark here and seems certain to improve for her first attempt at this trip. She's by Alhaarth who is a strong influence for stamina and she has appeared to have been outpaced in all of her career starts to date. She has form in testing ground and this is the right time to take a chance on her. Summer's Lease is a sister to the smart Needwood Blade but appears to be blessed with more stamina judging by her win at Nottingham over a mile. That wasn't a great race but her performance was taking and she's one that we'd like to have on side. A few others can be given chances and Lady Brora is one that rates a mention here but we'll nail our colours to the mast of Ainia.
