My Condor is very consistent and must be considered back over fences, however GROUND BREAKER mastered him last time and is taken to do so again. Despite some iffy jumping, the selection showed a good attitude last time at the track, always racing prominently and then fending off My Condor late on. Despite being 3lbs worse off at the weights with that rival today, we will take him to confirm those placings. Bill Owen is fairly lightly-raced for a 12-year-old and made a pleasing return to the track last time; along with Rosoff he needs respect. Pret A Thou is unexposed over fences but his best runs have come on soft ground, so a bigger danger could be Coolnaharan. Across from Ireland for this modest prize, this experienced gelding may get his preferred surface and rates as a threat, especially if the market vibes are positive. Glimmer Of Light is well-treated on old form but needs to put recent displays behind him, and so we will stick with Ground Breaker to win again.
