Experienced performers Forward Feline and Golden Destiny both make the shortlist but they are vulnerable to improvers of which a host go to post. Lost In Paris and Dustry are two of the more interesting ones but we'll take a chance with Bryn Palling's charge. Forward Feline has been commendably consistent this season, making the frame on six of her eight starts. Her failure to win doesn't appear to be down to any particular character defect and is more just a case of ill fortune. She's clearly vulnerable but the handicapper has been fair in his treatment and she has the form to win this. Top Town Girl is of keen interest and her run in bottomless ground in a Group 3 at Ayr can be ignored although there must be a concern as to whether it has left a mark. Golden Destiny has a similar profile to the selection but may have scuppered her chances of winning a nursery by making the frame in a sales race; her mark has suffered accordingly. Skid Solo ran his best race since debut last time and enters calculations on that form, Jubilee Juggins is worth a look as is Timeteam. Dustry ran on well to win at Leicester over a similar trip but needed every yard and may find that others have too much speed. Money for northern raider Lost In Paris would be worth noting as he clearly has ability; he was around six lengths back in Dustry's maiden but has a handy 18lb swing in the weights and has posted an improved effort since. A typically intriguing nursery in which FORWARD FELINE is put forward.
