        Verdict

        A competitive finale can go the way of SANDS CROONER, who's preferred to Zowington and Cape Royal. James Given's runner refused to race in his penultimate race, so there may be a concern or two about his temperament, however that was sandwiched in between a win and a second over this minimum trip on fast ground. The last run was a better race than this, while Sherjawy was well down the field in the former. Zowington is coming back to form, and has won here in the past. Cape Royal is the old boy in the race and has previously been rated in the 90s, but he's come tumbling down the weights in the last few months. An open contest to round off proceedings, with our support going to Sands Crooner.
