The market should guide us here, given that only three of the scheduled dozen starters have raced before, but we'll side with COLOURSOFTHEGLEN in preference to Toga Toga and Go Forth North. Tom Dascombe and Richard Kingscote won this race last year and can do so again tonight, with Coloursoftheglen having shaped nicely on debut when runner up on debut in a better race at Haydock. Related to a fair sprinter, he's entitled to improve for that run, the yard do well here, and he's their only interest on the card. Toga Toga's been expensive to follow, but can be forgiven his poor run last time out after being placed in his first three runs. Stepping up in distance looks to be a positive. Michael Bell doesn't have many running here, but his two year olds are going well, although his debutant Go Forth North may need the run. Support for anything in the betting ring should be noted, particularly the well-bred Stadium of Light for the in-form Hughie Morrison, as this one holds a Derby entry for next year. In the absence of much form though, we'll go with Coloursoftheglen.
