Verdict

Lamh Albasser, Leopard Hills and MUSIC OF THE MOOR make most appeal in this maiden and the vote goes to the last mentioned. Trainer Tom Tate has his string in good order at present and this son of Rock Of Gibraltar showed up well on his debut at Pontefract. This slight step-up in trip should suit and he won't have to improve much to get his head in front. Lamh Albasser is the Godolphin representative here and he is another who showed promise on his debut when he ran very green at Leicester. He should come on plenty for the experience but Godolphin are not really firing on all cylinders at present and we are prepared to take him on. Leopard Hills wasn't beaten far on his debut at Newcastle and he is bred to be suited by this slightly longer trip. Karl Burke has his string in good form at present so Cosmic Orbit is worth a market check on his racecourse debut. In fact the market may provide the clues in this maiden, but we will side with Music Of The Moor as our choice.
