Jeff Pearce's Fantasy Ride won well enough when taking a handicap at Wolverhampton last month and he has to be respected from his in-form stable off just a 3lb higher mark but has yet to prove that he stays this far and a better bet looks to be ISLE DE MAURICE, who is preferred to Acropolis. The last mentioned comes from Tony Carroll's stable that is in good heart at present and the son of Sadler's Wells has to be respected having run well over this trip in his last two starts, latterly in a claimer over course and distance. Jane Chapple-Hyam's Brave Mave has slipped to a fair mark but is hard to recommend on recent form and a bigger threat is likely to come from Pat Murphy's Colourful Move, who is better that he showed here last time. Peter Hiatt's Royal Rainbow is capable but has yet to prove that he stays this far and preference is for Isle de Maurice. Gary Moore can do little wrong with his runners at present and the son of Sinndar looks worth another chance having disappointed over course and distance last month.
