      Verdict

      GREY COMMAND arrives in search of a course and distance hat-trick and can find it, with Coolnaharan and King's Icon heading the dangers. Our selection goes particularly well here and followed a close second with two subsequent victories. The latest of those came in impressive fashion and a 6lb rise might not be a barrier to further success, particularly as the horse made all last time so this small field plays into his hands. Coolnaharan is another who has won two of his last three starts, all of them coming over this course and distance, so despite a 3lb higher mark making life tougher this veteran is respected. He's preferred to King's Icon of the remainder, although Michael Wigham's charge is respected on his previous efforts here. He disappointed last time, but that came at Lingfield and Dunstall Park appears his preferred venue so it'd be no great surprise to see an improved effort. Mackintosh is entered to run at Lingfield on Wednesday and his chance will be better assessed after that run, but in the anticipation that he once again performs admirably he's considered. Wavertree Warrior represents a yard struggling for form and a 2lb rise for coming second last time can't have helped this one, so along with the disappointing Rouvres Girl and Saving Grace he's opposed in favour of Grey Command.
