CAPABLE GUEST has run into some form again, and although penalised 6lbs for his recent narrow Newcastle success, he is probably capable of following up on a surface he enjoys, while Cape Marien is a danger. The selection has slipped to a very handy mark compared to much of his form from the none-too-distant past and now that he has regained the winning the thread we will follow him again tonight. Cape Marien was a decisive scorer at Wolverhampton last time over further than this and is also penalised 6lbs for that. She went well over course and distance when just touched off here last month and looks a leading player. Ardmaddy is 6lbs higher than a previous win over this trip at Wolverhampton and he does act on the Polytrack, though he has not won here in four previous attempts. Inch Lodge, Resplendent Ace and Blue Tango just look a little too high in the weights at the moment, while Smooth As Silk remains a maiden but is now on a handy enough mark and may well make her presence felt. Capable Guest is the one for us.
