With the yard going well we will take LEGALLY FAST to land the opener, while Intersky Music looks capable of giving him plenty to do. The latter, a Jonjo O'Neill-trained gelding, has gone up a harsh-looking 6lbs for finishing runner-up at Fontwell last time. Trip and ground suit the six-year-old, but with the extra weight to shoulder around this stiff track he will do well to win this today. Bubbs acts on most ground including today's description. He has a feather weight to shoulder here and stays well, so even though he is probably handicapped to the hilt he can get involved. Chilbury Hill is back on the same mark as when winning at Hereford in the spring, though the ground might be a bit quick for him, while Derniere Dance needs a market check on his first start in Britain and for Davd Pipe, though he has plenty to prove as far as the going is concerned. Charming Oscar is a maiden over hurdles and prefers softer ground, and we prefer the claims of Legally Fast. Peter Bowen's charge is back on a winning mark, has won twice on fast ground on the flat, and acts in headgear. He also has plenty of stamina and we think that combination can produce success here.
