Knotgarden looks of interest on her comeback however ERTIYAAD looks a potential improver this season and is preferred to Egmarey, Miss Jean Brodie and Marywell in a competitive heat. Sir Michael Stoute's Sakhee filly shaped with just a modicum of promise at Kempton last November (easy to back at 14/1) and hopes are rested on this longer trip proving more suitable. Her mother was useful and stayed well so the signs are positive and she is bred to come into her own this season. Egmarey shaped with promise at Salisbury on her racecourse bow, Knotgarden's debut form has worked out ok but a big weight concession makes life tough, whilst Marywell improved from first to second starts and was unlucky to bump into a smart one at Newbury last time out (trained by Sir Michael Stoute). Miss Jean Brodie was 33/1 on debut at Kempton but shaped with a degree of promise and is not ignored, along with the nicely-bred newcomer Sea Of Galilee. Silvan Stream holds Sheikhtothemusic on their Redcar run but that Strike A Deal form doesn't leap off the page, and a bigger threat may be Strictly Lambada who is bred to improve now tackling longer trips in her second season. An interesting race then where the vote is given to Ertiyaad.
