Not a great contest and one where we will side with EDGEWATER to have too much for Interakt, Bahamian Sun and Higgy's Ragazzo. Admittedly, Brian Meehan's Edgewater has already had three chances on the racecourse and some may take the view that he is vulnerable to a less exposed opponent. However, he picked up invaluable experience in a nursery last time, will be suited by this step up in trip if his dam's side of the pedigree holds any water, and this fast ground should also suit. Interakt has also been out a few times, all over 7f, but being by Rakti and with more of a stamina influence on the dam's side a mile should be ideal for now. However, the filly's form does not look quite as strong as the selection so far and so we'll take her on. Bahamian Sun was plumb last on debut at Doncaster but this fast ground will be much more to his liking and the extra couple of furlongs here may well also help elicit significant improvement. Mr Harmoosh and First In The Queue are both on the potential improvers list, while Ipswich Lad is related to juvenile scorers and is an interesting newcomer. Higgy's Ragazzo was ahead of First In The Queue here when they met last time and there is no reason why he can't uphold that form, but Edgewater is taken to score.
