More experienced performers in this second division of the maiden than there were first up, and while we think that the only debutant here can go well, we prefer the claims of ONYX OF ARABIA. To that debutant first though, and Godolphin's Graymalkin is certainly an opponent to be feared here. With the operation's two-year-olds going so well, including first-time out, then this Singspiel colt will take a bit of beating. A daughter of Cherry Hinton runner-up Pearl Grey, he has lots of juvenile winners among his relatives and it will be very interesting to see what sort of chance the odds compilers take with him. Even so, Onyx Of Arabia has invaluable experience on his side, having improved from first run to second, and that latter race has worked out pretty well so far with the fourth coming out and improving. Trip and ground suit and with the yard going well enough we'll just go with him. We'd expect to see more from Jamie Osborne's Saint Thomas after a promising Brighton debut, while Guest Book is almost certain to come on for a quiet Newmarket introduction, now stepped up to 7f. Kajima looks best of the remainder, but Onyx Of Arabia can add more than a touch of colour to punters' cheeks.
