A poor contest to conclude proceedings and Stuart Parr may well dominate this with Bright Falcon and UNBELIEVABLE JEFF and we will side with the latter. At the time of writing neither runner had a jockey booked so it is not easy to determine who might be considered first string, but Unbelievable Jeff showed that this sort of lowly mark held no fears at Redcar last time and on ground that suits and with a plumb high draw we just prefer him. Bright Falcon bagged a Ripon seller last week and carries a penalty for that success today. The Hawk Wing gelding is not badly drawn and should give a good account in his follow-up attempt. Thoughtsofstardom is 3lbs lower than when last winning on turf at Folkestone a year ago and he has gone on to win three Polytrack races from similar or higher marks since, so the ability is there and if there are no traffic problems then he can go close. Ask Jenny has the fast ground that she loves and a 3lb drop will help her a little, though she is still 5lbs higher than her most recent win. Future Gem won a poor Catterick maiden and was found out in a handicap from this mark last time, and in a race where little inspires Unbelievable Jeff is taken to score.
