A moderate contest where there should not be too many getting into it and SUMMER DANCER gets the vote ahead of Island Chief, Party In The Park and El Dececy. The selection has to shoulder 6lbs more than when scoring over 7f at Musselburgh last week. He stayed on strongly that day and so this extra half furlong looks a positive, as does the fast ground, and we will stick with him. Island Chief is in decent form and also prevailed north of the border a couple of starts ago before struggling from this mark last time. He is capable of being in the shake-up but is again going to be tested at these weights. Party In The Park certainly has the ability to win this, having scored from substantially higher marks in the past, and a return to form would be no major surprise, while El Dececy has kept his winning exclusively to sellers in recent times and despite top weight he might be found wanting in a handicap once again. Not a race to dwell on and Summer Dancer is the one for us.
