Sizing Europe showed no sign of ability in three starts for Henry De Bromhead in Ireland but may do better now with Paul Nicholls and he cannot be discounted but a safer option looks to be HAVENSTONE, who gets the vote ahead of Micks Prospect. Tim Vaughan's gelding has shown winning form in point-to-points and the trainer does well with other peoples cast offs so he has to be considered on his first start for new connections. Bob Buckler's Ballygulleen has shown ability in points in Ireland but needs to improve on previous rules form to take a hand in the finish here. Keith Goldsworthy's Dancing Credit was a multiple point winner but has failed to reproduce a similar level of form on his two starts under rules. Peter Bowen's Cilrhiwron ran better at Market Rasen last time and comes from a yard in form, while Nigel Hawke's Occasionally Yours has shown gradual improvement of late but looks booked for place at best. The selection then is Havenstone, who has had plenty of chances for Evan Williams over hurdles having won a bumper at Ludlow in October 2006 but he looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account over timber and gets the vote.
