In depth

Verdict

AQWAAS has been found a good opportunity here by Sir Michael Stoute and can break her duck, while Helieorbea looks the one for the forecast. There won't be many weaker races of this nature on the Westwood this season and Aqwaas, who has gone well in defeat in two big-field maidens at Lingfield and Goodwood, has by far the best form of those to have seen a racecourse. A reproduction or improvement on either of those efforts should be comfortably good enough. Helieorbea will have learned plenty from finishing down the field here in a similar contest earlier in the month and should be more race savvy now. Tim Easterby's gelding was not knocked about when beaten and can take home some prize money today. Debutant Admiral Of The Dee looks nothing special on pedigree and seems best watched, and Rose Avelina may prove the best of the pair of newcomers. Carragold has looked moderate thus far and should prove better when handicapping in minor company and Aqwaas is a confident choice.
