Winter Sunrise is a tentative choice in this tricky contest, where her stablemate Dance Of Light and the John Dunlop-trained Wannabe Posh can be fancied to make life hard for the selection. Wannabe Posh has been ultra-consistent and deserves a change of fortune after a series of near misses. This is an ease in grade for the daughter of Grand lodge and she cannot confidently be ruled out. Neither can dance Of Light, who still has time on her side and appears to be getting better with each run. She was not beaten far in this grade at Yarmouth last time and it would hardly be a shock if she were good enough to come out on top here. Gull Wing and Les Fazzani are others that are on an upwards curve and have to be worth a crack in this grade. However, Sir Michael Stoute has a great record with his fillies on the Knavesmire and, as he has secured man of the moment Ryan Moore to do the steering aboard Winter Sunrise, the master of Freemason Lodge looks the man to side with once more here.
