Verdict

A wide open handicap here and many would have chances on their best form but the main protagonists look to be Outer Hebrides, Empire Dancer and Another Genepi and the vote is given to Outer Hebrides. The selection won well last time out when beating Dr Synn. He escapes a penalty for that win as it was an apprentice race and off the same mark here from a good draw he looks the one to be on. Empire Dancer rates the main danger as he beat Fiefdom by a short head last time. However this looks more competitive and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Another Genepi will doubtless make a bold bid to make all the running but he will do well to hold on from stall 13. Golden Spectrum has dropped to a handy mark and with his yard back amongst the winners(they had a double on Monday) he could go well at a price. Akram is another plummeting down the weights but he has shown little of late so can not be put forward under top-weight from a terrible draw. Of the remainder, Linda's Colin has plenty in his favour but this hold-up performer will need plenty of luck in running and with this in mind for the winner we return to the unpenalised Outer Hebrides.
