Tinstre is turned out quickly and can take this race at the expense of College City.A 50/1 scorer on his most recent start - he is selected on the basis that he has commenced his most recent bout of handicapping off what is a plater's mark. There was no fluke about his Uttoxeter victory but he did beat some very bad horses and more is required here. College City's "second-to" reads pretty well and while he is always there at the business end of things, his backers have endured a frustrating two years without success. He should not have too many problems with a step back up in trip. Prince Of Aragon reverts back to hurdling after a spin over chase fences. He is 4lb higher tonight than his last winning mark over the smaller obstacles. Neptune is unexposed over hurdles and would be interesting if seeing any market support tonight. Gino Carenza is a very interesting booking for David Wintle and Mead is another to be dutifully watched in case of any action on course. Infidel's breeding suggests that the ground might be a little fast tonight. Confidence in Sir Walter has been eroded by two modest runs. Not a classic race by any stretch of the imagination and it is Tinstre that we nominate.
