Fairly High looks difficult to oppose tonight with Sitting Duck and Tog Go Boge appearing likely forecast options. An easy winner of a maiden hurdle at this track a few weeks ago - she looks to have been found an obvious opportunity to follow up given fast ground conditions and modest opposition standing their ground at the declaration stage. Sitting Duck would be better off against the selection if this were a handicap. A hold-up performance at Huntingdon appeared to backfire spectacularly and he has been off the track ever since. The fact that connections thought enough of him to enter him in a fair Kempton novice last November is one of the few positives on his card. Tog Go Boge's dam managed to win a bumper during her racing days. The progeny of Erin's Isle invariably need time so that may go some way to explaining why we haven't seen him on a racecourse until well after his seventh birthday. Pure Pleasure is a New Zealand import who was unfancied on his Northern hemisphere debut. West End Wonder is well held by the selection on their previous meeting while Beechwood flopped on reappearance from a long absence. Fairly High is difficult to oppose and we shall seek not to do so.
