Much of Saddlers Bend's chances will depend on his run here on Monday so we prefer MACHINATE, who was an extremely easy winner over a mile at Kempton last time out, and Laureldeans Best might be interesting for each-way backers. Just as effective over this trip and on this slower surface the pick shoulders a penalty for his facile success. Had he been carrying the extra six pounds he has on his back here during that run he still would have won so we keep faith that he can follow up. Saddler's Bend goes into Monday's race only a pound worse off than when winning well here on the 26th February after returning from a break so if coming out of the race well will remain in with a chance. Laureldeans Best hasn't had much racing and should go well enough off a new career low mark so looks some value while Hold The Bucks is considered under a penalty. A tricky end to the day but Machinate looks the safest option.
