In depth

Verdict

In another wide open handicap we take a chance with KHELEY as Mark Brisbourne's runner now looks dangerously light at the weights with Metal Guru considered for place money and Straobe looking the best of the trio of last time out winners. At four pound below her last winning mark the selection has begun to show a bit of form in her last few starts. A former course and distance winner she's had another pound removed for a good run in defeat last time so she looks to have every chance at a price. Meta Guru is also below her last winning rating and Reg Hollinshead's mare ran better than the bare result suggest on her last run. A three-time course winner she's also down in the weights and should be more than capable of a bold bid. Straobe is unexposed and won well on his Wolverhampton debut last time. He's not had much racing, especially on the polytrack,k and he can build on that last run to become a danger at his new weight. Both Ridley Diddle and Steel City Boy will have to improve now racing under a penalty for last time out wins but in a race were plenty have chances Kheley looks light in the handicap.
