NATIVE PICTURE is strongly fancied to land the spoils, although support for her stablemate Latin Lashes would need respecting and My Little Star represents a yard whose juveniles are coming in to form. Richard Hannon's record at this track with his youngsters isn't as strong as it is elsewhere but a 15% five-year strike-rate is more than respectable, and if we focus on this year alone that figure rises to 23%. Native Picture is a half-sister to Kingsgate Native, a Group One winning sprinter, and showed up well at Newmarket in a maiden that is expected to work out. From the best of the draw she's a strong fancy ahead of Latin Lashes, whose pedigree suggests this trip will be fine and she's not to be ruled out just because Hughes rides our selection. My Little Star is related to several reasonable sorts and while many of those improved as three-year-olds market support would be interesting, particularly as this trip seems ideal. It has to be interesting that Ryan Moore rides Queen Of Cash as he may well have been able to ride one of Hannon's but Hughie Morrison has only a moderate record here and she's bred to improve over a mile and beyond when three. Dorothy's Dancing didn't cost much compared to some of these but she is bred for pace and merits attention in the market but with the others to have running making little appeal the way looks clear for Native Picture.
