MARJU KING makes marginally most appeal ahead of Bavarica, with Megalala and Maslak others to consider. Our pick has the assistance fo the more than capable Simon Walker in the saddle and that has to count for plenty, as does his course and distance winning form from two starts back. His form away from this venue is unquestionably patchy but the gelding was eased when beaten last time out and that accentuated the margin of defeat. Back at a course he appreciates and quickly dropped 2lbs, our vote is with Marju King in preference to Bavarica. This mare has won three times under today's rider and the pair should combine well once more, with her Nottingham second appearing strong form. Prior to that she'd beaten Megalala and on these terms should do so again. The latter is consistent though and that counts for plenty in races like this and again he's won for his rider. Maslak took this last year from a mark of 70 so clearly makes appeal off 68, although his latest effort here was a shade disappointing and he's got a bit to prove this time around. Admirable Duque was well backed at Newbury and has placed form here off this rating so does make some each-way appeal, Ebiayn is tried in a visor and enters calculations while Soundbyte and Celtic Dragon should also give supporters a run for their money but none make more appeal than Marju King.
